Zoo trip
Kicking off our celebratory weekend at 11am on Saturday 29 August 2015, we'll be returning to the venue of our wedding, the original zoolyweds, ten years earlier: London Zoo.
Throwback reminiscences will include:
- Revisiting memorable sights and locations from our wedding
- Hopefully having a look at the venues of the ceremony and reception
- Eating lunch near where we had our reception barbecue and cake
…but will not include:
- Anyone struggling to balance wearing weddingy shoes with the need to walk around the zoo for an hour and ending up in pain.
Arrangements
We booked a group ticket for the zoo on 19 July, saving everyone who pre-booked 25% on tickets. We'll share these tickets with everyone who pre-booked soon.
If you didn't pre-book, you're still welcome to join us but will need to buy a London Zoo entry ticket as normal.
We'll meet at the main zoo entrance (how to find London Zoo) at 11am to go in on the group ticket.
If you can't make 11am but pre-booked onto our group ticket, you'll need to print and bring your own special unique bar code per person to show at the gate which will get you in on the group ticket without us being with you. We'll be distributing these via e-mail in advance to everyone who booked.
One other fixed meeting point/time for people coming later will be at the main zoo café at 12.30pm for lunch, but otherwise you could always call our mobiles whenever you arrive to find out where we are.
